Corus Entertainment Selects Viigo as its Mobile Content Delivery Platform

Nine Corus Radio properties across Canada use Viigo to deliver website content on your smartphone

Toronto, ON (March 23, 2009) – Viigo Inc. (www.viigo.com), developer of the popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones, and Corus Entertainment (www.corusent.com), a market leader in specialty television and radio, announced today the launch of a co-branded version of the award-winning Viigo platform.

With this offering, people who own a BlackBerry or Windows Mobile enabled phone such as the HTC Touch, Motorola Q9, Nokia E71 or 66, Palm Treo or Sony Ericsson XPERIA among many others, will have access to proprietary Internet content for the radio stations listed below by downloading the associated version over the air directly from their smartphone:

• AM640 TORONTO RADIO in Toronto, go.640toronto.com

• AM900 CHML in Hamilton, go.900chml.com

• Q107 in Toronto, go.q107.com

• AM 770 in Calgary, go.am770chqr.com

• 102.1 the Edge in Toronto, go.edge.ca

• CKNW AM 980 in Vancouver, go.cknw.com

• iNews880 in Edmonton, go.inews880.com

Only one version of the free application can be in use at any one time. However, content from each of the stations is accessible from the Viigo channel library so all Corus Radio content is readily available.

In addition, the Corus Entertainment/Viigo co-branded mobile content platform will support one-click access to real-time news, weather, sports, travel, stock market results, entertainment, blogs and more from over 5,000 of the best Internet content channels.

“Corus Radio is always looking to extend our brands where our listeners are,” said, David Huszar, VP and GM, Corus Interactive and Integrated Solutions. “We know our listeners are actively engaged with smartphones and Viigo allows our stations to tap into that growing market of consumers and deliver them great content.”

“The relationship forged between Viigo and Corus Entertainment provides listeners with the ability to access a compelling array of news, views and information, all designed to augment their listening experience,” said Mark Ruddock, CEO, Viigo. “We look forward to assisting Corus in connecting with their audience in new and engaging ways.”
