Viigo and the CFL Partner to Bring Fans the 2009 Season on their Smartphones

(August 6, 2009) – Viigo Inc. (www.viigo.com), developer of the popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones, and the Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today they are partnering to deliver fans exciting content for the 2009 season.
Simply by downloading the CFL branded version of Viigo, available at http://getviigo.com/CFL, fans can get the latest information on their team and the league on their smartphone including live scores, standings, and one-click access to tickets.
“Our league strives to put our fans at the centre of everything we do, and partnering with Viigo for a second consecutive year allows us to put them at the centre of the latst CFL news,” said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon.
“Ensuring our fans can access great content, even when they’re on the go and wherever they might be, is a great fit for a league known for fast-paced, wide-open action,” he added.

Fans who already have Viigo on their smartphone will notice that the CFL is unique as it is available as a module that can be added to the home screen.
Upon opening Viigo, press the device’s menu button and select “Add Service” then choose CFL.
Additional CFL content can be found in the Sports module which is included as one of the 12 default modules (News & RSS, Weather, Business & Finance, Podcasts, Local Interest, Shopping, Social Networks, Flights & Travel and Politics).
