#TAXI (#-8-2-9-4) is now available for all Viigo users right when they need it; when searching in Local Interest and Flights and Travel modules

Toronto, ON (November 17, 2009) – Viigo, developer of the popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones and CellWand, a developer of mobile search applications through abbreviated dialing codes, announced a marketing partnership whereby CellWand’s award-winning #TAXI® application will be available as a service within Viigo.

Viigo users will receive instant access to #TAXI (‘Pound Taxi’) in a number of areas of Viigo’s platform, including local interest when searching for Bars, Clubs and Restaurants, local weather, flights and travel information and other relevant areas for users who might be out on the town and potentially in need of a taxi. By accessing #TAXI (# 8-2-9-4) with one click, callers will be able to get connected to the first available taxicab company serving their local calling area, receive a recommendation for a local cab company or the caller can choose the cab company of their choice in any city or town across the country.

Viigo’s mobile content platform is universally recognized as one of the most popular smartphone applications in North America.

“A large percentage of Viigo users are between the ages of 25 and 44, so this really is a great demographic for us to hit and the nature of use allows us to promote to this group in a very timely and relevant way when they are searching for bars, restaurants, movies and travel information.” said Nick Quain, co-founder and CEO of CellWand. “We’re extremely excited about the short and long-term potential of Viigo’s promotional medium”

“#TAXI connects people quickly to a taxi wherever they are, whenever they need one” said Mark Ruddock, President and CEO of Viigo. “It’s all about one click convenience, and that’s what makes it such a great service for Viigo.”

#TAXI is available on 85% of U.S mobile phones with wireless carriers including AT&T Mobility, Sprint and Verizon Wireless and on virtually every mobile phone in Canada, including Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless and TELUS and has connected millions of callers to taxis.

The service utilizes a proprietary taxi database rating system and allows callers to simply state the name of their city or town in order to be connected. The service includes several unique features:

• Recommending the first available taxicab company best able to serve callers
• Allowing the connection to a preferred cab company
• Avoiding busy signals when connecting to a taxicab dispatch
• Finding the first available taxicab company dispatch during the busiest of times.

(www.viigo.com), developer of the popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones, today announced the introduction and immediate availability of secure mobile microblogging. This new feature, ideal for enterprise use, is made possible through the integration of StatusNet within the Viigo application.

Much has recently been made of the surge in popularity of microblogging services Twitter and FriendFeed, among others. And while these services have proven to be an excellent way for individuals to quickly share information with the world, join in conversations on a particular topic or follow an area of interest, companies have seemingly limited their participation to retail consumer brand awareness campaigns or as a support or help desk tool.

However, corporate interest in the use of microblogging as a means of enabling greater collaboration is increasing. This is particularly true of sales teams as they look to improve their ability to rapidly leverage knowledge that exists across the enterprise. By posting questions to the corporate microblog, immediate dialogue with other sales or presales team members can be initiated and answers quickly identified. This is of great benefit for organizations as it can shorten sales cycles and reduce the need for incremental employees and/or systems.

Artist information, news, interviews, features, reviews, tour dates, audio and more available in new module

(August 26, 2009) – Viigo Inc. (www.viigo.com), developer of the popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones, has teamed with eight of the top rock and metal eZines to create “Rock!”, a new module that offers up to date artist information, news, interviews, features, reviews, tour dates, audio and much more.

Included in the Rock! module is DeafLeftEar.com, DrivenFarOff.com, MetalInjection.net, MetalInsider.net, MetalSucks.net, MetalUnderground.com, PureGrainAudio.com and SMNnews.com. The Rock! build is immediately available for download at http://getviigo.com/rock.

“We at Deaf Left Ear are more than excited about our entrance into the mobile world through our partnership with Viigo. We live in a time where updates on-the-go are more the norm than ever,” said Matt Kleinschmidt, DeafLeftEar.com. “People want to custom information, on their terms, through their means, when they want it. It’s an exciting challenge for modern content providers. Companies like Viigo understand this concept; partnering with them allows Deaf Left Ear to deliver our content in a format loyal readers demand through enjoyable means they deserve.”

“Driven Far Off is entering your world 24/7 with the new Viigo mobile app,” said Bryce Jacobson, DrivenFarOff.com. “Bringing you that latest music news directly to your phone is something we have always wanted to do and now we can with our partnership with Viigo. Windows Mobile and Blackberry users can now get our content on demand and on the road. It’s the best of both worlds.”

“It is very exciting for our site to be entering the mobile world as it is clearly the future,” said Robert Pasbani, President, MetalInjection.net. “The people at Viigo have made it extremely easy for us to extend our reach to the new medium.”

“Metal Insider is very pleased to finally have a mobile solution, especially in the form of a quality app like Viigo,” said Dan Rodriguez, Metalinsider.net. “Our silly marketing gurus wouldn’t stop yapping about us needing a mobile platform, and while we don’t usually believe a word they say, there’s no doubt Viigo’s Rock! module will be great and a must-own for any metal fan. We couldn’t be more excited to have Blackberry and Windows Mobile users join us in making fun of (and maybe learning a little about) the industry.”

“We’re psyched to partner up with Viigo as our mobile solution,” said Vince Neilstein, founder of MetalSucks. “As more and more people access the web via their mobile devices, we know that Viigo, as leaders in their field, will make great partners in enabling our reader’s access to MetalSucks anywhere, any time.”

“It’s awesome that you can get all the best rock and metal news and features in one place, all on your phone with Viigo!,” said Doug Gibson, Founder, MetalUnderground.com. “We’re pleased to be involved in this amazing initiative and look forward to having our readers access our content on the go.”

“Over the 5 years since inception, rock news ezine PureGrainAudio.com has taken pride in being at the forefront of innovation and technology,” said Chris Gonda, CEO PureGrainAudio.com. “As the site’s traffic and content continues to increase we look for new and interesting ways to disseminate the information we gather to our loyal legion of readers. That is exactly why we are teaming with Viigo. The hip, new mobile application will allow for ALL PureGrainAudio.com content to be read anytime, anywhere without the need for a computer. Now that is awesome!”

April 21, 2009 — Beyond.com, Inc., the world’s largest network of niche career communities, and Viigo, an award-winning developer of a popular mobile content and services platform for smartphones, announced today a relationship to provide interactive job search capabilities and career content to users of BlackBerry® and Windows Mobile devices via Viigo’s popular mobile application.

Today’s professionals are more active and on-the-go than ever before, requiring them to multi-task and seek out quicker access to, and interaction with, the information they need and want. Beyond.com has recognized this trend by optimizing their network for mobile job searching, and has recently expanded their mobile strategy through Viigo.

And because the new application is part of the Viigo line-up, users can also access breaking news, weather, sports, stock quotes, blogs and other local interests from within the same application.

“Viigo’s all about providing people with access to the information they need, wherever and whenever they want it” said Mark Ruddock, CEO, Viigo. “We’re pleased to have formed a partnership with Beyond.com, as it opens up a unique and valuable source of content to our community. In fact, we hope many people will find their next job on Viigo.”

“This relationship makes job searching easier and more convenient than ever before by sharing our vast database of job opportunities and career content with professionals on-the-go,” said Rich Milgram, CEO of Beyond.com, Inc. “With this new application, professionals can now access fresh, relevant job opportunities from anywhere at any time, allowing them to proactively stay informed and react quickly to new opportunities for career advancement as they arise.”
